About Aanya
I am a future electrical engineer at Carnegie Mellon University and have a deep passion for Mathematics. For all four years of high school I have taken and excelled in advanced math classes and hope to help other students achieve the same. While I have limited experience in formal tutoring, I have worked with my younger sister for years and guided her through many difficult courses. I enjoy working with kids, as I have coached a group of elementary schoolers in dance for over 5 years.

I would like to tutor kids in the courses Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and below. My main belief when it comes to teaching is that every kid works at a different pace. I will work with kids at their own pace so that they can fully grasp a concept or an idea without being rushed into new topics. In every lesson, I will check in multiple times to ensure that no aspects of what my student is covering is confusing to them, and if there is an issue, we will solve multiple similar problems together because Practice Makes Perfect :) I tend to stick to a text book/school curriculum given by my student, but occasionally, if the situation permits it, I might explore a different topic to make connections and solidify my student's understanding.
