About Noah

I’ve been drumming for 15 years and have just graduated with a first class degree in Jazz from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and drumming is something I’ve always felt deeply connected to. Teaching came naturally - I love sharing what I’ve learned, helping people develop their own voice on the instrument, and seeing their confidence grow. It’s genuinely rewarding to be part of someone’s musical journey.

About the lesson

My teaching style is flexible and student-focused, aiming to create a positive and engaging environment where each student feels encouraged to grow and explore music at their own pace. I tailor my approach depending on the students' goals, experience, and musical interests. Lessons focus on developing technique, groove, styles across genres, and reading skills - all while encouraging musical expression, creativity, and finding your own voice on the kit. I believe in helping students develop both their skills and their confidence through consistent, enjoyable practice and guidance. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but I can adjust the length depending on the student’s age, level, or preference. I welcome students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to advanced musicians preparing for auditions or looking to deepen their understanding of their instrument and music in general. I teach from my fully equipped drum studio in Whitchurch, designed specifically for a comfortable and focused learning experience. I also offer online lessons for those who prefer to learn remotely. - Noah
