About Thomas

Hello! My name is Thomas, and I am a classical guitar student currently studying at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. I have 11 years of experience in my field including coaching group and solo lessons, providing music theory tutoring, and accumulating various private students.

About the lesson

Every person has a different way of listening to and expressing music. My job as an educator is to nurture each student's personal sense of musicality, and help them strive to be the best they can be. I am flexible in my pedagogical methods, as I know that each style will require different approaches. I offer anything and everything from basic chords and scales, to advanced techniques and music theory/reading skills.

Recommendations

Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.

Asher

Thomas is a very skilled guitarist and knowledgeable in both contemporary and classical styles. He is also very adept at explaining concepts and techniques, even to a total beginner like me. He's a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to anybody starting their guitar journey.
