About Preet

I love teaching because I enjoy seeing children grow in confidence and understand math. My goal is to make learning fun, build independence and help every student believe in themselves. Seeing a student go from "I cannot do this " to " I did it" is the most rewarding part of my job.

About the lesson

I prefer an activity-based style of teaching where the student is actively involved and learns through hands-on experience. I use different techniques (visual models and step-by-step problem solving) to make math easy to understand. This child-centered approach builds self-learning and critical thinking skills, and I believe the ultimate aim of teaching is to foster independence. It also raises students' self-confidence. Lessons are 1 hour, and I can teach primary students and up to year 10.
