About Morgan
When I was in school, my fear of failure held me back from reaching my full academic potential. This stopped learning from being fun! My first goal in working with my students is to bring excitement and engagement back into the classroom, sharing in the delight of learning and helping to make the information (and memories) last! Whether it's preparing for an exam, completing homework, learning a new subject, or working on a project, I would be delighted to help share the world of history!

I focus on using a Problem-Based Learning Model that presents students with an ability to grow from mistakes, hypothesize, and use reasoning skills to improve writing and argumentation rather than yes-or-no answers. Not only does this help students become better at argumentation, but they also gain qualitative improvement in mental health and ability to handle stress. A typical lesson includes a small lecture to help become acquainted with the material, then a specialized lecture that accounts for the sensory, academic, and experimental learning goals that will make the information stick! While I have the most experience working with elementary school (3rd-grade high ability), personalized curriculum plans can be augmented for all ages.
