About Delilah
Hi, I'm Delilah! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Education (B.S.) from Johns Hopkins University — one of America's premier research universities with a world-class chemistry and biomedical sciences program. Johns Hopkins' extraordinary research culture gave me an authentic scientist's perspective on chemistry that goes far deeper than any standard educational program. I have 6 years teaching chemistry from middle school through college freshman year through online one-on-one sessions. My "chemistry breakthrough board" was born from a simple but profound observation — students who remember their past breakthrough moments approach new difficult topics with confidence rather than dread, because they have documented proof that confusion always eventually becomes clarity in my lessons. I have helped students earn AP Chemistry scores of 4 or 5 consistently. I was honored with the Chemistry Education Breakthrough Award by the Maryland Science Teachers Association for my breakthrough-documentation and student-direction-centered approach to chemistry instruction.
