About Lauren

I am a Senior in High School and finished with Freshman year of college. I have great communication skills and am very hard-working and dedicated when it comes to education and teaching. I have earned A's in all of my past math classes and have completed college level calculus 1. I have volunteered at a preschool during the summers for three years. During this time I learned a lot about teaching that can be applied to a wide age range in children. I don't have much official tutoring experience, but I have a lot of unofficial experience tutoring peers and helping children with school and homework while babysitting. If given the chance, I won't disappoint!

About the lesson

My teaching method is very individualized. I can be best utilized as a supplemental tutor to help with homework, or to better explain a lesson from school in a way that the student will understand. I believe that every student has a way that they will learn best, which might not be the traditional way. There is so many ways of teaching and so many ways of learning. If the learning style and the teaching style align, then it leads to a much higher level of understanding, which leads to higher grades.
