About Lisa
After receiving my Bachelor of Education in 2012, I went on to further my education and educate others in a variety of settings. I taught English in South Korea, spent many years as a classroom teacher in Ontario and worked as a tutor in person and online.
I'm a very passionate teacher who has learned through my many years of experience the importance of kindness, patience and establishing trust, so you feel safe making mistakes as you learn and grow.

Effectively and efficiently helping others improve their English skills from basic to intermediate and beyond requires an extra level of care, attention to detail and the willingness to patiently ask questions to determine exactly what it is you are trying to communicate.
Typing out what you are saying and then reviewing it together gives us the unique opportunity to look at what you are trying to communicate both holistically and down to the fine details, making the most of our time together and resulting in a deeper understanding of the English language.
