About Nontsika

Hey my name is Nontsika Hulwane. I am a law graduate currently pursuing articles. I take interest in , among others, philosophy, literature, world affairs and human rights. My interest in English literature began in primary school when I'd always have my nose in a book and it has since been nurtured by the brilliant teachers I have met along the way. I am passionate about assisting learners and individuals alike who are struggling to find their rhythm in learning English literature, articulation and in expressing themselves in the English language.

About the lesson

Each lesson begins with a problem analysis wherein I take 10 minutes with the learner to go over the concepts that they struggle with and the knowledge gaps which must be addressed in order to overcome the problem concepts. The next 30 minutes of the lesson are dedicated to addressing each problem area that has been identified through the problem analysis by creating a tailored guide that the learner can follow in gaining understanding of the problematic concept , thereafter we put it to the test and adjust it where necessary to get ideal result. The last 20 minutes of the lesson are spent revising the guide using past paper questions and giving the learner constructive feedback in order to set them up to be able to remediate any future problems independently.

Where a learner is struggling with multiple concepts an intervention plan will be created similar to the lesson plan, which addresses all the concepts thoroughly over multiple lessons with the option of a 5 hour plan or a 10 hour lesson plan.
