Teaching Method and Techniques
First off I am a good listener. I pick up clues in students and understand how they are feeling. I am willing to share my own experiences while teaching . By sharing information about what I have encountered, the student might feel relieved that they are not alone. I also to help students build self-confidence. I am a collaborator. I believe the tutor-student relationship should be a partnership. I let the student know I am there to work with them to supplement classroom and individual study. I want to teach students how to learn. As a tutor my goal is to help each student become an independent and confident learner.
