About Lauren
I'm a second-career teacher. I have degrees in Media and Public Administration before returning to graduate school to obtain another master's in teaching. I worked as a substitute teacher while getting my master's in public and fell in love with working with high school students, specifically teaching math. I loved it so much. They are so curious and funny that after getting a job in the public sector, I missed the students. I decided to return to school for my master's in teaching. The rest, well, has been a blessed career in education.

I am big on project based learning children see math applications in a real world application scenario and why it's used so they can understand and apply it. They are very step oriented like a recipe for each experience. The students can see their first step to their last step since math is about sequence.
