About Thomas

I'm a member of an actively touring Indie/Rock band based in Sydney. I've been playing guitar for 10+ years and used to tutor students during my last few years of school. I finished school with a High Distinction in HSC music performance. I have an extensive knowledge of the guitar and strong organisational skills to prepare fun and easy to grasp lessons.

About the lesson

My method of teaching is the same way I was taught. I start off by getting the student comfortable with a guitar and learning the basics. Once they are capable I encourage learning what you want to learn. I'll never force lessons onto anyone that finds it boring or can't handle them. To get better at guitar you have to practice daily outside of lessons. I'm easy going so I encourage bringing in your favourite songs for me to teach you how to play!

Tom has worked hard to develop his talents and work ethic as a musician. Since meeting Tom, I have witnessed him put extraordinary efforts into his music, work and relationships. He prioritises building positive relationships and carries above his weight to ensure positive outcomes in work and in his personal life. He puts in additional hours to achieve the full potential he sees in himself and in others. He will be a fantastic teacher.
