About Leah
I am a graduate student at the University of York studying Social Policy, with the long term goal of working in Education and/or Health Policy. I spent my final year of my Bachelors degree studying factors in students lives that helped and hindered their education. I am a believer in life long learning and I'm happy to work with both parents and students to incorporate a holistic approach to education! My Bachelors degree comes from Northwestern University, from which I received a full scholarship after scoring in the top 4% in the American College Test.

I take a personalised approach to teaching, working with the student to make learning fun and rewarding for everyone involved. I have experience teaching GCSE Maths to 14-18 year olds with learning difficulties and encourage those who 'don't like Maths' to give me a go! I work with parent's and student's goals and aim to build confidence and proficiency to help achieve those goals.
I also have my Bachelors degree in Philosophy from one of the most prestigious schools in America and welcome students GCSE age and younger who would like tutoring in this field to contact me.
