About Indira
I am thrilled to be your guide on this incredible journey of learning and growth. I graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Aviation Management and Human Factors. But above all, I am deeply passionate about teaching math—a passion that has shaped me into the mentor I am today.
Over the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of helping students from grades 1 to 12 achieve outstanding results. Whether preparing for prestigious examinations like AIME, AMC, National Olympiads, HAST, or selective exams such as SAT, GRE, and Naplan, my approach has always been to inspire confidence, nurture curiosity, and foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. I specialize in making complex topics simple and relatable, helping students unlock their potential and build skills that last a lifetime.
What prompted me to teach is my unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives. Growing up, I was fortunate to have mentors who turned my challenges into triumphs. Perfect! Finding a math tutor for my daughter was a very challenging process. I reached out to several individuals, hoping to find someone who could help strengthen her understanding of math. Unfortunately, after numerous attempts, I received several denials. One individual was very considerate and professional but explained that she wouldn’t be available until January, and it was currently October 1st.
Then I received a message from Indira, and I can genuinely say that it felt like I had hit the jackpot! After experiencing so many challenges just trying to find someone, I was simply happy that someone had finally responded and was willing to help.
From the beginning, Indira was very welcoming. Her communication was excellent, and she took the time to ask questions to better understand my daughter’s needs and how she could assist her.
Our first meeting went extremely well. One thing that stood out to me was her intelligence and her ability to take complex information and simplify it into something a child can understand. I’ve always believed that the best teachers are those who can adapt their teaching methods to different children and their individual learning levels. Every child learns differently, and a great educator understands how to adjust their approach to meet each child where they are. To me, that’s what separates someone who simply knows the material from someone who truly knows how to teach it.
Although our experience with Indira has just begun, things are going very well. My daughter is developing a better understanding of math, and I’m looking forward to seeing her continued progress.
One thing I also want to mention is that I was never really a big believer in online education or tutoring. I always preferred in-person learning because I felt it would be more effective. However, this experience with Indira is beginning to change my perspective. I’m realizing that online tutoring can actually be very effective when you have the right educator who knows how to adapt to a child’s learning needs.
Based on my experience so far, I would definitely recommend Indira to any parent or guardian looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping their child learn, improve, and soon be independent on their own. She’s the one.
