About Rachel

I have attended a selective, math-centered school for the past six years. I got a 5 on my AP Calculus BC exam, and a 1530 on my SAT. I initiated and launched a successful project to send engaging math kits to kids, and so have experience in explaining math concepts as well as making them interesting and understandable. I am known for my positive and friendly personality, and am confident we can work together well.

About the lesson

I prioritize understanding over rote memorization, so if you forget something on a test, you can be confident that you can figure it out. We'll assess what you need help with, and then make sure to circle back at the end to make sure you remember what we worked on.
