I start by anchoring you onto the rudiments and fundamentals leading to whatever level you're on, and then take you from there on a natural progression towards expert level. I have taught grades 6-12 over the years, but lately only grades 9-12 to advanced functions, and calculus with the same ease of understanding of the concepts along the progression.
