About Reika

I am Reikantseona Mfikoe, I am 19 years old and I was brought up in a village in North West, Bethanie. I have tutored former high school classmates of mine, of course that was just me helping out my friends so no charge needed. This year I have helped prepare matriculants back home in Bethanie with their final matric papers. I excelled in Business Studies, Accounting, English, Afrikaans, and Mathematics. I chose to tutor math because I feel like people fear math when it is just a fun and exciting subject. I want to help people to expand their love of math.

About the lesson

I am a student who struggled with math in high school. I started experimenting with different learning styles, to find one that best works for me, and I did. This helped me familiarize myself with a ton of learning styles and their importance. I prefer giving my lessons in English, but Tswana also works fine with me. Our first lessons will consist of us getting to know each other a bit, while I try to pick at your brain to see how fast a worker you are and how much of the basic concepts you understand.

When she tutors she tries by all means to make sure you understand the work by breaking it into little pieces which are a lot more possible to understand. You often find that tutors give up on you when they feel like they've been teaching you the same thing forever and you still not getting it right. Reika on the other hand will rather learn about your method of processing things and teach you the work in the way that YOU understand
