About Kamsathvani

Hello! I’m a dedicated Maths tutor with a strong background in KS3, GCSE and A-Level Mathematics. I understand that Maths can be challenging for many students, which is why I focus on making each lesson clear, encouraging, and tailored to the student’s pace using traditional and modern approach and techniques. I’ve successfully helped students gain confidence, improve their problem-solving skills, and achieve better results in school and exams. My approach is calm, patient, and supportive – I create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. About the lesson

I offer personalised and supportive Maths tutoring for students at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level. My approach focuses on building a strong understanding of core concepts, improving problem-solving skills, and helping students gain confidence in their abilities. Teaching Methodology & Techniques I break down topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps, using visual aids and real-life examples to explain abstract ideas. I focus on exam-style questions and techniques, helping students become comfortable with how to approach and answer them effectively. Lessons are interactive and adaptive – I regularly check understanding and adjust the pace accordingly. I encourage questions and use past papers, worksheets, and revision strategies to reinforce learning. For students who are anxious about Maths, I create a calm and encouraging environment to reduce stress and build confidence. Lesson Format Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but can be adjusted to 45 or 90 minutes depending on the student's needs. Available in-person in Aylesbury or online via Zoom. Each session ends with a short recap and suggested revision/homework tasks to keep progress consistent. Qualifications & Experience I have completed both GCSE and A-Level Maths with strong grades. I have experience helping students improve their understanding and exam technique in 1:1 and small group settings. I’m passionate about Maths and committed to making it less intimidating and more approachable for every student.
