About Claire
Hi!
My name is Claire and I am a native UK English speaker from Glasgow in Scotland.
I am also completely fluent in Spanish.
I gained a First Class Masters degree in International Business and Spanish from the University of Strathclyde. During my degree, I completed a year abroad studying Business Administration and Economics at the University of Salamanca in Spain.
I have been teaching English as a second language to children, adolescents and adults of all levels since 2012.
After graduating I moved to New York, London, Madrid and Scotland and worked for international companies.
I have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) qualification and a Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) qualification.

As a speaker of a second language myself, I know what is involved in perfecting a language. You have to be passionate about your language goals and interested in your topics of application. For this reason, when I teach English I like to focus on my students' areas of interest such as music, football, culture, film or business and provide lots of material in that area to keep it interesting and relevant to you.
