About Fatima

Hello! I’m Fatima, a British native English speaker currently studying as an international student in Johor Bahru. I’m interested in a future in education, and teaching English is a great way for me to build real classroom skills while doing something I enjoy. With over 6 years prior experience in teaching, I really love helping people feel confident speaking and writing, and I’m patient, friendly and well-organized. I’m excited about working with Malaysian and international students!

About the lesson

I start with a short, friendly chat or activity to find out the child’s level and what they struggle with, whether that’s speaking confidence, grammar, reading or writing. My teaching approach is student-centered and personalized so I believe that every student learns differently.

Based on this, I will then tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs and then together with the parent, I set one or two goals, like improving school exam results or speaking more confidently. I’ll also give short feedback after lessons so parents can see improvement.
