My experiences of living in Tehran, Iran in 1978 and in Venezuela in 1994-1996, as well as extensive travel to non-English speaking countries, have given me an appreciation of the difficulties and stumbling blocks encountered in mastering a foreign language.
While studying provides the scaffolding or skeleton of a language, the way to truly learn a language is to use it and be corrected when you make a mistake. Often we are not in a social, business or academic environment or in a circumstance that allows for a Native speaker to correct us.
I will identify the areas where your language skills are letting you down - the places where your English skill or pronunciation lags behind your professional knowledge and abilities. With some practice, you'll be able to converse with more confidence and precision.
