About the lesson

My teaching method revolves around personalized instruction, where I assess each student's strengths and areas for growth to tailor my approach accordingly. I utilize a variety of techniques, including guided reading, phonics instruction, and comprehension strategies, to address specific needs and enhance overall reading proficiency.
A typical lesson plan begins with an assessment of the student's current reading level, followed by targeted instruction focusing on areas such as fluency, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension. I incorporate engaging reading materials, interactive activities, and continuous feedback to ensure a dynamic and effective learning experience.
As a tutor, what sets me apart is my extensive background in instructional coaching and administration, which allows me to offer a holistic approach to reading instruction. I provide not only academic support but also guidance on study skills, time management, and motivation, fostering a well-rounded learning experience.
My lessons are designed for students of all levels, from elementary to high school, who are seeking to improve their reading skills. Whether a student is struggling with decoding and fluency or aiming to enhance their comprehension and critical analysis abilities, my lessons are tailored to meet their specific needs and goals.
