About Joan

Hello! My name is Joan and I’m passionate about helping others learn English in a way that feels natural, engaging, and enjoyable. I understand that every learner is different, so I take the time to get to know my students and adjust my lessons to fit their needs and goals. I specialize in teaching children aged 4–15 and beginner English learners. With a calm and patient teaching style, I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable to speak, ask questions, and grow in confidence. My background includes experience in wellness and working directly with clients, which helps me bring warmth, empathy, and strong communication into each lesson. Whether you’re learning for school, travel, or everyday conversation, I’m here to support and guide you every step of the way. I look forward to learning together with you or your child!

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s unique needs. I believe that learning English should feel enjoyable and encouraging not stressful, so I focus on building confidence through consistent practice and positive reinforcement.
Whether you’re a young learner, a complete beginner or someone looking to improve fluency, I adapt my teaching style to suit your level and learning goals. I use a variety of materials including stories, games, videos, speaking exercises, and visual aids to keep lessons engaging and effective.
