About Melody
My mother was a music teacher, so it was at a very young age that I began learning how to read music, sing, and play piano. I attended a performing arts school where I majored in Vocal Music, participating in All-County Soloist and Choir Competitions as well as All-State Competitions and received many Superior ratings. I, myself, began taking voice lessons and in turn used those skills to then lead my church band and small singing group.

My teaching method is very catered to the individual. I like to evaluate what it is that you want to accomplish and then come up with a plan together. I believe that where there is a will, there is a way and I am here to be your guide on your way. During lessons, as a general rule of thumb, I like to focus on diction, increasing range, tone and resonance, breathwork, and music theory.
