About Ilana

Hello! My name is Ilana, I'm 16 years old and I'm a junior in high school. My background: I'm a serious and passionate student, particularly dedicated to my chosen subjects (Economics and Social Sciences, History, Geography, Geopolitics, and English Language, Literature, and Civilization), with a 17 average. I learned English on my own, reaching a bilingual level (C1), and navigated through middle school, which allowed me to develop a real understanding of different learning methods. Everyone learns in their own way, and that's precisely what I'm passionate about: finding the approach that works for each student.
Why I tutor: I've always helped my classmates study, explained lessons, and loved seeing when something becomes clear to someone. I truly believe that everyone can progress with the right tools and a little self-confidence.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Ilana, I'm in my third year of high school, and I'm passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. An excellent student with a knack for explaining things simply, I offer comprehensive and personalized academic support to help you succeed. What I offer:
Solid methodology: learning how to learn, organizing your work, creating effective study notes, managing your time.
In-depth understanding: we don't skim, we truly grasp the concepts so they stick.
Targetted exercises: regular practice adapted to your level and difficulties.
Personalized and assessed follow-up: we set goals together and measure your progress.
Homework help: support with your assignments, exercises, and test reviews.
My preferred subjects: Economics and Social Sciences, History, Geography, Geopolitics, and Political Science, English (C1 level, bilingual)
Homework help in all subjects at the middle and first two years of high school.
My approach:
To parents: I offer rigorous and regular follow-up with clear objectives. I am organized, punctual, and attentive. My goal is to help your child not only improve their grades but also gain independence and confidence.
To students: with me, there's zero judgment! I adapt to YOUR pace and YOUR learning style. We're here to understand together, not to stress you out. I know the challenges of middle school and the transition to high school because I've been there too, and I know how to make things simpler and less daunting. My goal isn't just to help you get better grades, but to make you independent and confident in your schoolwork. The atmosphere will be relaxed yet effective, I promise.
Who is it for? Middle school and students of the fist two years of high school who want to improve, get better organization, or simply have regular support with their studies.
The first lesson is free so we can get to know each other and identify your needs together!
