About Patricia

In addition to my career at Rockwell Collins,
I have successfully served as a volunteer tutor at a few grade schools, Kirkwood and Made Phillips Center.

My lessons will be personally tailored to the needs of the student.

Structure introduce a concept with examples and simple quick quizzes to assure that the student understands what we just discussed. If so, I will assign some practice problems to be completed at home and returned at the next lesson.

The next lesson will be to review a concept taught at the previous lesson and work through any difficulties that the student had.

I have a very relaxed aproach. If Math is not fun for you yet, it will become fun as we work together.

About the lesson

I earned a BacheloRees degree in math with a minor in Education from Iowa State University. I went on to be on the first team to program an Area Navigation System and the team to program GPS a user Equipment for Rockwell Collins. I programed the math intensive of these system.

I also studied and really enjoyed Discrete Mathematics (Logic). Deep knowledge of logic was key in my carreer.
