About Elizabeth

I propose: - A conversation course encouraging oral practice, while reinforcing the respect of grammatical rules and improving the pronunciation. We will discuss topics that interest you according to your level of English, work to develop a fluency of speech and evolve useful vocabulary in practical contexts. - Academic support, in particular, training for the English Baccalauréat, TOEFL and TOEIC, and assistance for entry applications to American universities. - A general course for all levels that includes Oral and Written Comprehension and Oral and Writing Expression (with detailed grammatical explanations) tailored to your needs. - A Business English course in order to put you at ease in professional situations. For example, we will simulate job interviews or we will practice your presentations. I will help you write cover letters or make a translation of your resume.

About the lesson

I am a New Yorker who has lived in Strasbourg for 3 years. I hold a Master of Arts and Social Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania. I have always been interested in the cognitive process, the method of learning and the sharing of knowledge. I have several years experience teaching English (oral, written and grammatical) to individuals and I have pedagogical and relational skills. In addition, I am trained in the training of students for the TOEFL, TOEIC and admission to American universities. I am committed to teaching in a face-to-face relationship, and I am truly motivated to develop a personalized program for each student according to his / her needs whatever they may be. My goal is to increase students' confidence in communicating with anglophones, to facilitate fluency in speech, and to develop complex vocabulary through practical exercises.

This was an extremely productive course. Marc was a business english client and he had a clear goal. I was happy to help him achieve it. Also, he lived in Strasbourg center and we met regularly. This also made it easier.
