About ROJES

I’m an Engineering graduate with an MBA in Operations Management, and I work professionally as a Senior Manager in Business Analytics — so I don’t just teach math from a textbook, I show children how it actually works in the real world, which makes it click in a way rote learning never does.

With 9+ years of tutoring experience from Grade 2 to Grade 10, across the NSW and Victoria syllabus, and preparation for NAPLAN, AMC, and SEAMO, I’ve seen every kind of learner — the anxious ones, the reluctant ones, the ones who just need someone to believe in them. I was a student once too, and I still remember what made math frightening versus what made it finally make sense. I teach your child the way I wish someone had taught me.

I know the feeling every parent knows — watching your child stare at a math problem, frustrated, convinced they’re “just not a math person.” I’ve felt that worry too. Because before I was anyone’s tutor, I was a parent first.

I’m the math teacher for my own three children — two teenagers and one in Grade 2 — and I started teaching them the same way I now teach every student: with patience, without judgment, and by meeting them exactly where they are. Watching my own kids go from struggling with concepts to winning Mathematics Olympiad awards wasn’t just proud-parent joy — it was proof that any child can excel with the right guidance. That’s the belief I bring to your child too.
