About Georgie

The English department I trained in is exceptional and pushes both staff and students to achieve; regular CPD and professional development training sessions have enhanced my practice beyond the standard requirements of my teacher training, enriching my quality of teaching and providing me with the opportunity to try new strategies and find my own style.

High quality, empathetic and rigorous education is essential for all young people and I am truly passionate about motivating students to achieve.

About the lesson

Having worked in a TES award winning English department at a high performing school, I am a dedicated and experienced English Teacher. Experience of successfully motivating staff and students to get better results has broadened my knowledge of teaching techniques and strategies to get better results. I was responsible for devising a comprehensive learning programme specifically tailored to the individual requirements of each student.

I was also involved in a number of extra curricular groups such as our pathway to excellence club: a group designed for our highest performing students to help stretch them and develop their personal creative writing style and oracy skills.

If you’re looking for a dedicated, friendly and responsive tutor who’s passions are education and literature, then I’m the tutor for you!

Qualified English teacher, able to support students KS2-KS5 in both English Literature and Language. Experience working with a range of abilities with a flexible approach.
