About Tabita

I am a mature and dedicated teacher with a passion for lifelong learning. It is an honour to be part of each student’s unique learning journey. I have a background in marketing and creative direction. I taught art history at a tertiary level for 6 years.

About the lesson

My teaching method is student-led, engaging and always relevant. I make use of multimedia, lots of conversation and fun role-play to teach all levels. Expect a clear roadmap of what we will discuss and learn in each lesson as well as an opportunity to reflect on your learning. You will use authentic texts (real examples) to work from while I actively seek to facilitate your intrinsic motivation with themes and areas that interest you. At the centre of my teaching philosophy is respect for oneself and others. I aspire to always foster a love for reading and inspire students to always think critically and creatively about the world around them. I am relationship-driven and confident in managing students, parents and carers.
