About Eily

I am very passionate about all sorts of different subjects, but specialized in economics in school. I have been a TA for upper-level economics courses, which entailed regular office hours and private tutoring sessions. I also have lots of experience working with people of all ages, from peers to young children. I have been in various managerial positions in jobs throughout school, but also have mentored students and peers in more laid-back environments like sleep-away summer camps. Since graduating, I have been working in pricing analytics and economic modeling. I LOVE my job and my field, but just miss the people-forward side of things that I used to be so involved with. About the lesson

I am happy to customize lessons to meet you where you’re at in a non-judgmental and productive environment. I feel very strongly that everyone can be good at math, it just takes patience and breaking things down in a way that things make sense. I pride myself on understanding and explaining not just the proper method of different things, but WHY the proper method works and how it came to be. I think understanding the basics and breaking down how things work is so much more effective than memorizing facts or formulas, and I specialize in helping you be able to do that!
