About Kyle

I have been tutoring and teaching mostly mathematics for 10 years now. I started tutoring in college at their tutoring centers, and then once I graduated I taught high school Algebra and Geometry for several years. (I also taught Pre-Algebra and some sciences at another school). I then went back into tutoring, and have developed tools, tricks, and resources to help my students succeed.

About the lesson

First, I'm not a teacher- I'm a tutor. I don't have classroom pedagogy and all of the fluff that comes with the teaching profession. I just focus on getting students grades up, help them understand the past, present, and future concepts, and have fun and be encouraged while doing so!

Recommendations

Kyle is a super awesome tutor who really helped me build my foundation in math during my junior year in high school. I found myself struggling in precalculus, but through his guidance, I enjoyed learning more about math and he also taught me many testing methods that eased my testing anxiety. I would definitely recommend Kyle to anyone because he is an amazing teacher that is always eager to help you succeed.

Mr.Myers has been my tutor for about two years now and has tutored in me in classes ranging from AP Physics to SAT Math. I really like how he understands how I work out problems and helps me work them out to best suit me. He's very patient and I've always understood the problem after he's done teaching. I recommend Mr.Myers to anyone who has trouble with their math!

When I was in college, I would utilize the math lab on campus which I used often. I would frustrate most tutors. Kyle made everything seem simple and broke it down to my level. His calm/caring demeanor helped out a lot. While most people were all hanging out, I noticed Kyle was always seeking to give help and made learning fun.
