About Jenna
I am a Veterinary Assistant who has also studied various fields of the sciences/health sciences in school. I have worked with many students of all ages with many specific areas of Biology as well as some Chemistry. While working with students, whether they needed help increasing their grades or simply some extra review before a test, their grades did improve in the end.

My teaching method varies from person to person as everyone is different and so does learning styles. I am a strong believer in using textbooks or any notes from class as a foundation, but also then making up your own set of notes and study guides in your own words. I was always much better at grasping concepts through visualization and hands on work, but I have also worked with students who learn best by reading. I have many sets of notes and books for many of the science fields, I also have a microscope with both prepared slides and blank ones as well.
Practice is key. For every hour in a class, it is believed to spend 2 hours a week studying.

Details
I am offering the first lesson free of charge for a half hour time slot or marked at half price for a full hour. I can also offer deals as well, 5 hours of lessons over various days/weeks will be $75
For traveling, I am willing to travel up to 30mi for lessons with a $10 charge added to the original lesson fee. (If travel is within a few miles up to about 10 we can discuss having the travel fee waived.
My cancellation policy: I understand that life can be unpredictable at times, I ask for 24 hours notice if there is a need for lesson cancellation/rescheduling. I will allow one no show lesson free of charge, but after the one I will charge $15/no show.
