About Emeline
I’ve been tutoring general college chemistry for a year, and I’ve tutored in more basic grade school subjects for about three years. I have my notes from when I took these classes so that if I forget anything I am able to quickly find the correct information. I tailor my teaching method to each person so that everyone is able to understand chemistry.

I have been a general chemistry tutor for over a year, tutoring first and second years at Cal Poly SLO. My areas of expertise include covalent and ionic bonding, nomenclature, isomerism and stereoisomerism, absorption, electron quantum states, orbitals and hybridization, acidity and basisity, resonance, Lewis and line angle structures, unit cells, electron configuration, basic thermodynamics, rate laws, energy levels, and more. I explain things differently than most professors and teachers do, and I make sure that the people I tutor have a full understanding of any topic they need help on.
