About Taufiq
I am a medical officer, currently working in GP settings after getting fed up with KKM bureaucracy. My last department was primary care in which the department is known as first line before patients head to secondary/tertiary care. Working in primary care makes "a jack of all trades"; a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one, where you know roughly bits of here and there of each specialty. Leaving KKM after 5 years, I am proud to say that I am a well functioning doctor and will be glad to share my passion in helping junior doctors survive housemanship.

I did my housemanship in Hospital Tawau, Sabah in 2018 after leaving medicine for almost 1 year. During my housemanship, I focus on hands on work and skills to refer to other departments. I wish I had someone to teach me the ropes to work effectively as a houseman.
