About Jennifer
I am Jennifer, a Master graduate in Psychology from the University of Auckland.
I had ran several seminars and classes, which received praises from the professors during my time as a Master’s student.
I also teach young children in an after school programme (Bricks4Kidz)
I believe that to be an excellent teacher ask for two things, flexibility and passion. Flexibility, to accommodate the student’s need and pace. Passion, for only when you have passion in the subject you teach, could you draw in isteners and learners. Only with passion could you share about the wonderful things that you can’t wait to teach others.
I would also be honest with my skills and field of knowledge, before we decide on continuing with a lesson I would ask about what the students wish to gain from the lesson, and if it is something I cannot provide, I would notify the students.

Having experience with teaching children, and running seminars fo high schoolers and University student, I am happy to teach students of all ages, who are passionate in learning more about Psychology, piano, art or acquire some Chinese-linguistic skills.
HOW I TEACH—
I structure my lessons depending on what my students wants to learn, and their learning style.
Generally, for students who wishes to learn more about PSYCHOLOGY, I would apply a more discussion based lesson that pushes for critical engagement and understanding which is extremely crucial in the field of Psychology.
For students who wishes to learn Chinese, I would apply a stricter teaching manner, that is both structured and fun for the students.
For students who wishes to learn piano, and art, I would apply a creative and fun tactic.
REQUIREMENTS—
Psychology - high schoolers and above.
Chinese/ Piano/ Art - pure beginners to intermediate/ children are welcome
