About Payam

My name is Payam. I completed a bachelor's degree in fine arts and have been working as a freelance artist, graphic artist and illustrator for more than ten years. My work has been published in numerous international print and online media. Like Falter in Austria or Le Monde in France.

I'm also an art teacher at “Die Kunst VHS” and “VHS Wiener Urania” in Vienna and I teach drawing and illustration there.

About the lesson

When I think of drawing, two keywords come to mind. See and practice. What does see mean ?! Everyone can see well or everyone sees everything the same? When I talk to others about drawing, they tell me I have talent. But is it really like that? Do I have talent or have I spent my time drawing and do I know which exercises you can do to transfer your ideas onto paper? I think everyone can draw! Not just like an amateur or just as a hobby, but like an artist! I think anyone could see the world like an artist, but you have to learn how to see and I have a lot of exercises for that.
