About Cam
I am currently a mature Maths student. When I learned maths at school, the teaching method put me off as Maths seemed out of reach for someone else. Since then, I have concluded that Maths is not difficult, having worked through more advanced topics. To me, Maths is a language. To learn the language we need to work at it and more importantly understand the underlying concept and even more importantly the WHY, as without context it is very difficult to get motivated.

My approach to tutoring is to take a subject at a time and work through an example or set of examples. Then my students attempt examples together to explore any issues or gaps in knowledge. Typically a lesson lasts for half an hour.
