About Silvi

I have been giving Maths lesson for almost two years teaching around 15 primary and secondary school students. The majority of students required GCSE preparation and managed to achieve at least one grade above their predicted grades but on many occasions even more.

About the lesson

Hi there! My name is Sylvie and I am a third year medical student at The University of Sheffield. I am very passionate about teaching and I am quite easy-going and accomodating. I thoroughly enjoy my degree and I am hoping my tutorials will make you fall in love with maths and science too! When I am explaining scientific consepts, I like to start simple and build-up your confidence and then progress to more complicated concepts and questions, in order to prepare you for the highest grade possible. Understanding the concept is crucial in order to be able to apply it and get all the marks! The sessions will be tailored to your needs and will be very friendly, so you feel comfortable to reach you highest potential :). I look forward to meeting you!
