About Thyagi
I am a university student at the Australian National University studying the bachelor of philosophy (honours)- Science. I am studying on a full Academic Merit Scholarship and have also received offers from the University of Sydney, University of Melbourne, ANU, University of Western Australia, University of New South Wales, University of Bristol, Glasgow University, University of Nottingham and the University of Tasmania.

I just graduated and I know the struggles of studying for ALs first hand. Despite the struggle I was able to secure 4A*s for Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Mathematics and an A for Physics in my International Advanced Level exams from Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge. I also received the Sri Lanka Cambridge Country prize for IAL Psychology. Additionally I acquired 9As for my GCE Ordinary Level exams. I would love to share the knowledge that I have gained throughout the years with passionate students who would like to take a collaborative approach to learning abstract concepts in the syllabus in a simple manner that fosters their curiosity and interest towards the subject. I'm very patient and empathetic so you will not have to worry about finding lessons difficult or feeling ashamed. I will be taking a unique personalised approach to teach every student so that all of their needs are accommodated during the lesson. Notes, Past papers and homework will be given to ensure that the students are on top of their work. I am willing to teach Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics including Statistics and Psychology for students from grade 6 to ALs and also Science & Maths for primary students. Each lesson will be for 2 hours but can be either extended or shortened upon request.
