About Cleo
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry. My teaching goes beyond the classroom, integrating forensic chemistry and toxicology into core chemistry topics. I help students explore how chemistry plays a vital role in crime investigation and public safety. In my sessions, I cover drug analysis, trace evidence examination, and analytical techniques used for identifying poisons. I guide students through the process of interpreting forensic data and understanding its application in real-world legal scenarios. Lessons are designed to be interactive, case-based, and easy to follow, no matter your background. I’ve worked with students aiming for careers in forensic science, law enforcement, public safety, and legal studies. Many of them have gained clarity in complex topics and confidence in applying chemical principles to real-life situations. Through engaging discussions and examples, I encourage conscious chemical thinking and responsible scientific practice. I support students in excelling academically, while also inspiring them to think beyond textbooks. As a medical technologist and wildlife photographer, I bring a unique perspective to teaching. I show how chemistry influences both health and nature. This helps students develop a deeper appreciation for how science can protect the environment and improve lives. Together, we explore the role of chemistry in creating a healthier planet. I use real-life case studies, interactive sessions, and simplified methods to make learning exciting. Curiosity is always welcome in my sessions—it's the first step toward discovery and growth.
