About Laylah

I have always valued education but more importantly I always want to see others succeed and feel confident in anything they do. While it will help me make ends meet it is also my way of giving back and uplifting the community.

I know what it feels like to be stuck on something that everyone else seems to understand and I know what it is like to feel as if you are behind but I also know that feeling when a topic suddenly makes sense... I want to help other people get there faster.

What you can expect from me:

Patient, judgement-free explanations, and no question is too basic
Lessons built around how you learn, not a one-size-fits-all approach
A focus on understanding the “why,” not just memorising answers

I’m looking forward to working with you!

About the lesson

In my lessons we will first establish what you know and build on that. We will use multi-modal methods such as music, short videos, poems etc to help you engage with the English language as that helps you to memorise but also builds understanding. My classes will be interactive and not just about my student listening to me talk. We will establish any goals my student may have and work on reaching those goals together at their pace.
