About Megan
Hi! I'm Megan and I am currently completing VCE in a Melbourne selective school. I have had experience with working with children and I believe that I can deliver content in a way that is easily retained. Currently, math is one of my strongest subjects as I am 6 months/1 year ahead in every topic and I have received a multitude of awards (Celebration of Excellence 2019, Received superiors for numerical reasoning and mathematics, Certified in Abacus math, etc.). I also genuinely enjoy teaching!

As a student myself and someone who works with children (part-time job), I believe that I can successfully deliver content to engage the students. I am happy to tutor anyone from grades Year 7 - Year 10 remotely in Math as I have completed up to Year 11 of the Australian curriculum. During each lesson, I would run through the content of the respective grade requirement, going ahead of the curriculum if the student's ability permits. I will also be sending out weekly quizzes to check the understanding of the student. This would be the process over a few weeks but I'm happy to do lessons only occasionally for specific topics. Although I haven't had any official experience as a tutor, I have actively engaged with children and I have offered tutoring services to younger family friends. Furthermore, I can offer selective school exam preparation for Math as I received a superior for both numerical reasoning and mathematics. The typical length of my lessons would be an hour.
