About Dale
I am lead veterinary surgeon at a busy emergency clinic. I spend every shift explaining complex concepts in a clear concise manner to clients, and have helped several up-and-coming vets with their applications or their studies.
I also have a basic sciences degree and a hobby in programming and electronics. Happy to teach Biology up to university level, and Maths, Chemistry and Physics to A level. I received A grades (back when there were no A*s) for my sciences at A level, and a merit in the Advanced Extension Award for Chemistry.

With everyone on lockdown I have decided to offer free online tutoring to any students who need a little extra help. I'm happy to receive individual problems or specific lesson requests. Lessons can take the form of a written explanation, a video explanation or an online one-to-one session.
I believe strongly that creating a love of learning is the most important aspect of education, and that should be achieved by focusing on the 'how' and 'why' rather that the 'what'. I've always imagined this as creating a scaffold of working knowledge, so individual pieces of information will be retained in the structure all the more easily. Pupils are more astute than they are given credit for.

As I have said in my introduction, all my tuition is being offered free. If I can help a few students through this difficult time I will consider it worthwhile.
