About Joni

About Me:
Hi! I’m a dedicated Year 12 student and School Prefect with a strong academic background (including Grade 9 Chinese, Grade 8 Maths, Grade 9-8 Combined Science Grade 7s in English language and literature, and History and 2 UKMT Silver Awards). I am patient, warm, and passionate about helping younger students build confidence and achieve top results in Maths, Sciences, and languages (fluent Cantonese/English, plus basic Mandarin and French).

About the lesson

How I Teach:
My lessons are structured, supportive, and entirely tailored to each student's unique learning style. I believe that understanding the why behind a topic is much more effective than just memorising facts, so I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps.

What to Expect in a Session:
Interactive Practice: We won't just go over notes; we will work through practice questions together so students build real problem-solving skills.
A Patient & Encouraging Space: Making mistakes is a crucial part of learning! I always keep my lessons friendly, patient, and stress-free so students feel confident asking questions.
Pre-GCSE Foundation Building: I focus on strengthening core skills in Maths and Science early on, ensuring students feel fully prepared and ahead of the curve when they reach their official exams.
