About Lori

I am a three time graduate of Kennesaw State University in Marietta, Georgia. I posses a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education, and an Ed. S. in Teacher Leadership for Learning. I have taught for over 18 years. I constantly seek additional training to enhance my toolkit and keep me abreast of current educational trends. I am a certified Learning Focused Schools Trainer, a certified Orton Gillingham Trainer, and have coordinated and managed after school and Saturday tutoring programs.

About the lesson

Learning should be fund and engaging. You need skills not just for today and passing tests, but also for taking you into a future of success. I use highly researched best practices when teaching students math, reading, science, and social studies. Not only do I hold a valid Georgia teaching certificate, but I also hold an endorsement in gifted education, reading, and dyslexia. I have also had extensive training in STEM!
