About Marjorie Jean

I am a dancer and yoga instructor with several years of experience exploring movement in all of its different facets. I am currently a candidate for a master’s degree in Dance and Movement Therapy at the UAB in Barcelona and consistently deepening my understanding of how movement can facilitate healing of the mind while working to relieve tension in the body.

I have received formal training and a teaching certificate for Ashtanga Vinyasa in Mysore, India, however, I have also been teaching Hatha and Yin yoga classes since 2017. I continue studying online with my guru in India and as I aim to go deeper into my own practice I feel more confident in the teachings I share with my students.

Yoga is a way of life, not simply a physical practice for the body. This is only a fraction of what it means to practice yoga and I enjoy imparting this wisdom upon my students to challenge them with seeing beyond the superficial layers of the self.

Aside from teaching yoga, I am also an English teacher and a business professional. Originally from the US, I have been living and teaching abroad since 2015 and have been teaching both group and private classes to learners of all ages, some as young as 2 years old, as well as adults of all ages, both in person and online.

I specialize in teaching business professionals and have worked with many high level executives within the financial services industries for several years in Andorra where banking is prolific. I have a business degree in PR and Marketing, with a minor in International Management, and have worked in media, legal, and digital marketing industries during my tenure of living in New York City.

I am a seasoned marketing professional and event planner and have been hosting both online and in-person events for international groups and projects since 2016. I recently launched an online event called the “Blue Space Project” (#bluespaceproject) which is a creative collaboration between global artists who are presenting dance, music, or visually artistic compositions in video format to a global audience.

I truly look forward to both teaching and learning from you!

My teaching style fully depends on the needs of each individual students. Each person is different and requires a tailored approach to attend to their needs. So I will be happy to have a discussion with you about what you need so that we can build a plan together for your classes!

These prices are offered based on 1 student per class.

If you are experiencing financial hardship, I am happy to negotiate a price that works with your budget :-) Yoga & learning in general is something that must be accessible to all.

I allow one refundable class cancellation per month. After the first cancellation, the classes are non-refundable.
