About David

Hi! I am David Parker, and I am a Mathematics tutor with a First Class degree and over 8 years of teaching experience.

Along the way, I discovered I had a natural gift for explaining Maths in ways that genuinely make sense to people. That realisation shaped my entire approach.

I am warm, patient, and easy to talk to. My students never feel judged for not understanding something. I create a space where questions are welcome and progress is always the focus.

I bring deep subject knowledge, a proven track record across secondary school, university, and adult learners, and a high standard of professionalism to every session.

About the lesson

Maths has a reputation for being intimidating, my job is to change that.
Over the past 8 years, I've helped secondary school students, university undergraduates, and working professionals go from feeling stuck to genuinely confident in Maths, Algebra, and Further Maths.

I make it easy for anyone from secondary school level up — whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, or a university course, or simply want to finally understand what's been holding you back.

Each session runs for one hour online. I use visual aids, real-life examples, and practice drills to make concepts stick, not just for the exam, but for good. Every lesson is tailored to you, so we move at a pace that actually works.

I graduated with a First Class degree and have been teaching maths and Further Maths for 8 years. I know the subject deeply and I know how to break it down — those are two very different skills, and I've spent years developing both.
