About Cillian

I’m Cillian, an acclaimed published author with six books across fiction and nonfiction. My work comes from immersive reporting in high-risk settings, including living with one of Manuel Noriega’s enforcers in Panama and interviewing Blood and Crip members in Los Angeles. My writing has been taught in university criminal justice programs and recognized in various educational spaces. I bring that same clarity, discipline, and depth to tutoring, helping students write with confidence, structure, and a strong personal voice.

About the lesson

I teach writing the same way I write: clear, structured, and focused on helping you find your own voice. Each lesson begins with a quick check-in, followed by one essential concept explained simply, and then we work directly on your writing together. I offer straightforward feedback, and every session ends with one practical skill you can apply to your next piece, which I review in the following lesson.

What sets me apart is my experience as an acclaimed author of both fiction and nonfiction. I understand how stories work, how arguments build, and how to communicate clearly.

My lessons are ideal for high school and college students, aspiring writers, and adults who want to write with confidence and purpose.
