My method is simple, we got to know what you know... what you REALLY know. It's like a doctor's job where at first I have to discover what you have learned and then I can recommend a treatment. I always think of tutoring as a dialogue between the student and the tutor where we both have to learn and adapt to each other's needs and priorities.
